User Guide – How to Save the Gym Care by Gym Fit App to Your Device

Thank you for using our new Gym Care by Gym Fit. As the app is currently accessed via a web link (URL), you can save it to your device as an icon for quick and easy access—just like a standard app.

Follow the instructions below for your specific device and browser.

1. Saving the App on an iPhone or iPad (Safari Browser)

1. Open the app URL in Safari.

2. Tap the Share icon (square with an upward arrow).

3. Scroll down and tap 'Add to Home Screen'.

4. Edit the app name if required.

5. Tap 'Add' in the top-right corner.

The app icon will now appear on your home screen.

2. Saving the App on Android (Google Chrome)

1. Open the app URL in Google Chrome.

2. Tap the three-dot menu (top-right corner).

3. Tap 'Add to Home screen' or 'Install app'.

4. Confirm by tapping 'Add' or 'Install'.

The app icon will now appear on your home screen.

3. Saving the App on Windows PC (Microsoft Edge)

1. Open the app URL in Microsoft Edge.

2. Click the three-dot menu (top-right corner).

3. Select 'Apps'.

4. Click 'Install this site as an app'.

5. Click 'Install'.

The app will now appear in your Start Menu and can be pinned to your desktop or taskbar.

4. Saving the App on Windows PC (Google Chrome)

1. Open the app URL in Google Chrome.

2. Click the three-dot menu (top-right corner).

3. Select 'Cast, save and share'.

4. Click 'Install page as app' or 'Create shortcut'.

5. Tick 'Open as window' (recommended).

6. Click 'Create' or 'Install'.

The app will now be available from your desktop or Start Menu.

5. Saving the App on Mac (Safari)

1. Open the app URL in Safari.

2. Click 'File' in the top menu.

3. Select 'Add to Dock'.

4. Confirm by clicking 'Add'.

The app will now appear in your Dock like a normal app.

6. Saving the App on Mac (Google Chrome)

1. Open the app URL in Google Chrome.

2. Click the three-dot menu (top-right corner).

3. Select 'Cast, save and share'.

4. Click 'Install page as app' or 'Create shortcut'.

5. Tick 'Open as window'.

6. Click 'Create'.

The app will now appear in your Applications folder and Dock.

7. Using Firefox (Desktop)

Firefox does not currently support full app installation in the same way as Chrome or Edge.

To create a desktop shortcut:

1. Open the app URL in Firefox.

2. Resize the browser window so you can see your desktop.

3. Click and drag the padlock icon (next to the URL) onto your desktop.

This will create a clickable shortcut to the app.

8. General Tips

• Ensure you are using the latest version of your browser.

• For the best experience, use Chrome, Edge, or Safari.

• If you do not see an 'Install' option, check that you are using a supported browser.

• Once installed, the app will behave similarly to a standard mobile or desktop app.
